RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Guidelines For Parents

1. We expect the parents to show constant interest in the progress of the child, and to co-operate with the school authorities in their development. Parents are asked to see that the children do not go out of station before school closes and that they return to school promptly when the school reopens after long holidays. It is compulsory to be present in school on the closing day and opening day.

2. Classes 1& 2 will have continuous assessments in all three terms instead of Term Examinations. All the sections of the same class will have assessments on the same day. These assessments will not be repeated if a particular student in any section is unable to give the assessment on the day that is fixed.

At the same time please do not bring a child who is sick only to appear for the assessment. Let her do well when she is well.

Punctuality is an important value we try to inculcate in our students. Parents are requested to see that your daughter reaches the school ten minutes before the first bell, so that every student can be present for the morning assembly and prayer. After receiving the first and second report parents are asked to meet the teachers and go through the children's work to help them improve

3. Written tests except that of dictation will not be repeated if a student is absent on the day the test is held.

4. English is a compulsory subject for classes 1 to 12. Therefore a pass in English together with a 33% & 35% in every subject is essential for promotion in classes 1-10 and higher secondary respectively.

5. Results declared after the final examination are absolutely final and on no condition will they be reconsidered.

6. The examination results should be collected by the parents themselves.

7. The evaluation of answer papers falls under the jurisdiction of the Principal and therefore no outside person has jurisdiction to scrutinise/evaluate the answer scripts. In the quarterly & half yearly examination the answer papers of the students will be shown  the parents. The answer papers of the Final Examination will not be shown to anyone.

8. No parents, servants or friends are allowed to walk about the school premises or visit class- rooms.

9. Teachers should be met only during their free periods and that too, after a prior appointment. The office staff should be informed about the appointment and the teachers will be called to the school parlour.

10. No Student is allowed to bring mobile or cameras to school.

11. Parents are asked to wait for the children in the lunch shed or near the gate when the school gets over. They are not allowed to go to the class rooms to collect their children. Private vehicles must be parked in the places allotted for that purpose. A lot of disorder at the gate can be avoided if the parents co-operate.

12. Ready response to the invitations sent to the parents to attend the Parent-Teacher Meeting and other school events will be greatly appreciated.

13. Any communication (request, complaint, suggestion) made by parents to the school should be addressed to the Principal and not through phone.

14. Students must be encouraged to join the various games such as Table Tennis, Basket Ball, Badminton, sports, Karate etc. They must be regular in attending these once they have given their names.
